If you’ve never heard of a Mealthy CrispLid before, you’re missing out. I’ve used this crisp lid in a recipe or two already, like my Apple Gouda Grilled Cheese. However, I’ve failed to expound upon how amazing this device really is. Many people own a pressure cooker because it’s been a pretty staple kitchen gadget for decades now.

However, air fryers are still new to some people which means they’re still making their way onto the cooking scene. The Mealthy CrispLid is a great way to avoid getting an entirely new kitchen appliance while utilizing the one you may already have – a pressure cooker.

The Mealthy CrispLid fits over the top of your pressure cooker and turns it into an air fryer. Yeah, it’s that simple; pretty cool, right?? That means you can forget about taking up a ton more room on your counter or in your cabinets to store another appliance. You can make recipes like these Pumpkin Spice Sweet Potato Fries and more, with this device.

Tips for Making CrispLid Pumpkin Spice Sweet Potato Fries

  • Be sure to not overlap your fries when cooking them. This will cause them to cook unevenly and they may even turn out soggy. If you’re worried about having to go through a ton of batches, the trivet should hold quite a few fries in each batch.
  • If you like a thinner cream cheese sauce, add a bit more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
  • If you are unsure of what a baton is, simply make sure the fries are no thicker than a fourth of an inch and are basically square all the way around. The length doesn’t matter.
