With no refined sugar, whipped cream (optional), or yogurt, the salad has nothing but the richness and decadence of fresh fruits.

I know, I know. I’m complaining. But that is what so many people go through when they have to go out in the scorching weather. But if you are counting the positives of this season, there is no way you can ignore the coolness and freshness of summer fruits. That means fruits like honeydew lemon, berries, peaches, and watermelon, not only make a delicious and juicy recipe but also help you reduce body heat.
The season comes with refreshing fruits that can make an effective means to beat the heat. You can grow or pick your in-season favorite fruits like grapes that come straight from the homegrown vine, or strawberries straight from the strawberry bed. Because I’ve been making this salad for years, it is a tried and tested recipe that works for every occasion. My family loves it as a part of the Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving dinner.
Here is what you need to set up your game of perfect fruit salad.
- 2 to 3 cans of peaches (use without sugar and juice)
- 2 to 3 cans of fruit cocktail (mixed) (use without sugar and juice)
- 1 can of chopped pineapple (use without juice)
- 1 Ibs of sliced grapes
- 1-2 Ibs of sliced strawberries
- 1 chopped apple
- 2 sliced bananas
- 1 vanilla pudding box ( sugar-free)
Separate fruit juices from cans by pouring them into a bowl
Add vanilla pudding to the bowl and mix them well
Add in all the fruits, including cocktail, bananas, grapes, and strawberries to the prepared liquid. Mix them and sprinkle nuts (optional)
Mix well and enjoy it!
Note: you can change the variety of fruits according to your taste and the availability of the fruit.
That is it! Serve it the way you like it. Refrigerate it, add some whipped cream or honey, or do whatever you think can make it more delicious and healthy. It is a perfect recipe to celebrate summer evenings.

- 2 cans of mixed fruit cocktail no sugar leave juice
- 2 cans of peaches no sugar. leave juice
- 2 cans of chopped pineapple leave juice
- 1-1/2 pounds of fresh strawberries sliced
- 1 pound of grapes sliced
- 2 bananas sliced
- 1 apple chopped
- 1 box sugar-free vanilla pudding
- Take the juice from all the cans and pour into the bowl.
- Add in the box of vanilla pudding.
- Mix the pudding and juice well!
- Then add in the fruits and mix.
That is all there is to it. Serve how you want. This is delicious alone, with whipped cream, or you can even add it on a bit of greek yogurt. I regularly do that for more protein and some healthy fruit!
