What is Everything Bagel seasoning?
It’s the seasoning of all seasonings and it tastes good on everything. I’m talking fish, bread, salads…you name it. It’s comprised of several spices but a few of the ingredients are onion flakes, garlic flakes, and white sesame seeds, just to name a few.
This homemade seasoning is so good that I often sprinkle a little bit on half an avocado for a snack.
What temp should Salmon be?
According to the FDA, salmon should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees. It’s then considered safe to eat.
The easiest way to test the internal temperature of the salmon is by using a meat thermometer. Make certain that when you’re taking the internal temperature, you’re doing so in the thickest part of the salmon and not pushing it all the way through.
Do you leave the skin on your salmon to cook it in the Air Fryer?
It’s a matter of preference, but for this recipe, we don’t. We just use the fish fillet and find that it’s cooked perfectly every single time.
What is the white stuff that comes out of salmon?
More than likely, you’ve probably noticed the white stuff coming out of cooked salmon. Don’t worry, it’s nothing bad. It’s just cooked protein called albumin.
If you want to eat it, you can. And if you don’t want to eat it, you don’t have to. Just scrape it off and toss it in the trash before eating.
Is overcooked salmon still healthy?
Well, it is. The texture of it will be rubbery dry and won’t taste the best. However, it is still fine to eat. Although cooking this in your Air Fryer shouldn’t overcook it at all. Pro tip: If you do overcook salmon, don’t toss it! Make a salmon salad just like you would tuna!
