20 Dr Seuss Books Every Child Needs To Read

Dr Seuss’s Birthday is March 2 and I can’t think of any other way to celebrate than curled up with a good book reading to a child. Dr Seuss has filled our bookshelves for years and years.

I just know your child will love reading these 20 favorites from our house, to yours!  Head on over to your local library, or for easier convenience, head on over to Amazon, and find a book or two and celebrate with that special child in your life.

2. Oh The Places You’ll Go -This is a wonderful book that encourages young readers to follow their own paths.

3. The Cat and The Hat -The Cat and The Hat is a wonderful book every kid will love – a true Dr Seuss classic.

4. Green Eggs and Ham -Every collection needs Dr Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham! It’s a story children will love for years.

5. Oh The Thinks You Can Think -Oh the thinks your child can think after reading this book. Dr Seuss’s rhyming tale is a fun treat for young readers.

6. Fox In Socks -Fox in sox is one of our favorite books. It’s a great way to start your early reader off on a reading journey.

7. Hop on Pop -Hop on Pop is another great classic your child will love. Lots of fun and love in his story.

8. Are You My Mother? -A great Dr Seuss set for toddlers – the board books are great for little hands.
